Coquille River Light- (Also known as the Bandon Lighthouse) Built in 1896 the lighthouse functioned until 1939 when it was decommissioned. My first memories of this lighthouse were of one covered in graffiti. The community of Bandon rallied support to fully restore the lighthouse’s structure in 1976. A solar powered light was installed in 1991.
