Ruins of Hiroshima Prefectural Industrial Promotion Hall A 1945 inset photo from the Hiroshima Peace Museum shows the devastation from the first atomic bomb. The Peace Museum clearly illustrates with many exhibits the horrors of war and why the World should always strive for Peace. The museum and park is designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. ( my photo above was taken in 2013 and shows one of the few structures not totally obliterated by the blast)
