Peggy's Cove is a small fishing village about 25 miles from the better known city of Halifax. Often it is overrun by tourists but the locals work hard to maintain its origins as a fishing village. The foreground in this photograph shows the "erratic’s ", large boulders of granite encased and carried down in glacier ice and deposited during the Ice Age.
