Finding good autumn colors in the fall of 1994 proved difficult. Great color depends on previous rainfall, cold nights and short days with lots of sunshine. We finally found the best color in the middle of New Hampshire. Put yourself in front of this scene. Perhaps if you stand quietly you can also hear the loons on the far side of the lake.
