Ref.#92 6195 ~ Fence, Camden
In talking with a very nice waitress in Camden, Maine, she asked if we had been out to see the "Oreo Cookie" cows just outside town. That perked our curiosity and we went to see. The "Oreo" Cows were actually Belted Galloway Cows, a breed that lived well in cold climates. In that same area was the perfect autumn scene above. The colors were great, the light was fading, a constant slight breeze made the necessary exposure time of two or three seconds impossible. Back in town the next day we stopped into a variety store and bought some black thread. We tied a low hanging branch to the fence post with the thread ..... problem solved! The tiny thread held the branch still. Light fog moved from the nearby bay adding a perfect light to the scene.
