Mill Cove is on the opposite side of St Marguerite's Bay from Peggy's Cove. These dories were tethered together in the bay and served to hold the fishnets when not placed within the bay. As they were out some distance from me I used my longest (500mm Nikkor Lens) to capture the image. On a view camera the photographer is viewing everything upside down and backwards. As the wind moved the dories back and forth I had to adjust mentally to keep the boats within the frame as viewing thru the camera back is blocked when the film holder is in place. Also the bellows of the view camera were tilted and stretched to maximum to keep all the dories within the focal plane. A challenging shot that worked!
