This was quite the adventure. I was traveling with my whole family in a tent trailer. The top raised up and beds pulled out front and back; canvas sides snapped in place. We had spent the first day photographing most of the viewpoints. That evening a new weather system blew in with strong winds and blowing snow. The pull-outs on the beds were bouncing up and down. We kept the trailer attached to the van so it would not blow around. Snow blew through the cracks in the canvas. Fortunately our trailer had a self-contained propane heater. We were safe and sound. Excited to see Bryce Canyon with fresh snowfall I arose early, drove to the “Sunrise” viewpoint and got my photograph. Then we all got out and played in the snow.
