Ref.#02 3559~ Oneonta Gorge
A small fissure in a wall of basalt, carved by a stream over thousands of years, created this very narrow gorge. For the adventurist a 100’ waterfall awaits those who are willing to risk crossing a complex logjam then wading thru numerous pools to the falls. As a word of advice: in spring, the pools are quite cold and the water is deep and swift. By summer the water level drops and the temperature is inviting.
