Succor Creek State Natural Area lies in a deep, rocky canyon and is a remote haven for rock hounds and wildlife watchers. The creek is a 70 mile-long tributary of the Snake River that begins in the Owyhee Mountains in Idaho, flows mostly through Oregon, then back to the Snake River in Idaho.
